CommentDesk helps authorized users connect supported social accounts, sync comment data, generate AI-assisted drafts, and manage reply workflows. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

We collect account and usage information needed to operate the service, including sign-in details, connected platform account identifiers, comment and post data pulled from connected platforms, AI draft content, and workspace configuration such as reply settings, topic profiles, and knowledge snippets.

We do not use your connected-platform data for unrelated advertising purposes, and we do not sell personal information collected through the service.

When AI drafting or triage features are used, selected comment content and related context such as post titles or descriptions may be sent to our AI service providers for processing. That processing is used solely to generate recommendations, drafts, and workflow metadata for your workspace.

We share data only with service providers needed to run the product, such as hosting, database, authentication, AI, and connected-platform API providers. These providers process information on our behalf to deliver the service.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request removal of connected accounts or workspace data, subject to operational and legal requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including authenticated access controls, per-user data isolation, and encryption for stored OAuth tokens. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you connect YouTube, Facebook, or other supported platforms, your use of those services remains subject to the privacy policies and terms of the relevant third party. We are not responsible for the privacy or data practices of external services.

You may choose whether to connect a third-party platform, whether to sync data, and whether to use AI-assisted drafting features. You may also disconnect a platform or stop using the service at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
